Through this privacy policy, our company seeks to inform the public about the nature, scope and purpose of the personal information we collect, use and process. Furthermore, data subjects are informed of their rights under this privacy policy.

Data privacy regarding applications and in the application processes

The data controller collects and processes the personal data of applicants for purposes related to the application process. Processing is carried out using electronic means. If suitably qualified, the personal data you have provided to us will be stored in a separate directory for further processing, to which only the HR department and the respective responsible supervisors have access. If the data controller concludes an employment contract with the applicant, the transmitted data are stored for execution of the employment relationship under compliance with statutory provisions. If the data controller does not conclude an employment contract with the applicant, the application documents will be deleted automatically two months after the decision in the application proceedings was announced, unless deletion is outweighed by any legitimate interests of the data controller. Other legitimate interests in this sense are, for example, a burden of proof in proceedings in connection with the Allgemeines Gleichbehandlungsgesetz (AGG) [General Equal Treatment Act].

Legitimate interests in processing pursued by the data controller or a third party

If processing of the personal data is based on Article 6 I letter F GDPR, our legitimate interest is the conduct of our business for the benefit of all our employees and shareholders.

Period for which personal data are stored

The criterion for the period for which personal data are stored is the respectively applicable statutory retention period. After lapse of this period, the data in question are routinely deleted, provided they are no longer required for execution or initiation of a contract.
