694-52 RFID LF Secure Reader
The 694-52 Secure LF proximity reader consists of three parts: a potted unit containing the electronics, a front cover, and an optional spacer plate. A fixed 10-way colour coded cable protrudes from the back of the potted unit.
The key feature of the 694-52 LF Secure Reader is to prevent unauthorized copying or cloning of credentials. All LF Secure tags and cards are in sleep mode by default until woken up by a specific wake-up command generated by the reader. The reader will then read the transponder’s user-programmable ID Code and output the code in one of many user-selectable formats. LF Secure credentials can only be woken up and read by the readers they have been paired with. Wake-up codes can be created specifically for individual sites and / or customers.
